Eddie Suits, President of Suits Homes, Inc. first entered the mobile home industry in 1973 while working for a local home builder where he constructed manufactured homes on a production line.  For over two years, he worked in all aspects of the industry.

With a little experience under his belt, he was presented with the opportunity to start his own business refurbishing and selling mobile homes. Just five years later, he opened his own retail sales center in central North Carolina and Suits Homes, Inc.  came to life. At that time it was the only sales center of its kind in Chatham County.

His wife, Shirley, managed the secretarial and sales portion of the company and the business began  to grow. By the 1990?s the company had grown tremendously and Eddie became more involved in the industry as the demand for system built homes rapidly increased.

Today, Eddie and the Suits Homes team operate the largest modular home retail sales center in Chatham County, featuring more elaborate homes ranging from 800 to 4500 square feet. Eddie attributes his success to meeting and exceeding his customers? expectations with the entire home-building process, from sales to service!
